On Tuesday, India beat Sri Lanka by 41 runs in a low-scoring game in the Super Four round of the Asia Cup, thereby sealing a spot in the final of the tournament.
India batted first and were bowled out for 213, with 20-year-old Dunith Wellalage taking 5 wickets. Indian captain Rohit Sharma top-scored with 53. Wellalage was also Sri Lanka’s main fighter with the bat as he scored 42 not out batting at No 8, but was unable to prevent his side being bowled out for 172.

Kohli came to the crease with the score at 22/1, with Rohit joining him at 40/2. The pair put on 95 in 118 balls to keep India afloat in the chase before Rohit hit Johan Botha straight down the throat of Lonwabo Tsotsobe to depart for 48.
