Kevin Love last played in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Miami Heat are making a significant lineup change for Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
NBA TV’s Jared Greenberg was the first to report that the Heat planned to start veteran Kevin Love at power forward over Caleb Martin, who started in the Game 1 loss.
“I have learned within the last hour that Miami is expected to make a lineup change going back to the lineup they rode throughout most of the NBA playoffs, going big with Kevin Love back in at the starting power forward position,” said Greenberg.

Martin, who is battling a non-COVID illness, is available and is expected to come off the bench.
Tyler Herro remains sidelined as he recovers from a broken hand, though there’s hope he could return for Game 3 on Wednesday.
