Popular musician Olamide Adedeji, better known as Olamide, posted a deep statement on Instagram a few hours after internet trolls blamed him for the inappropriate online behavior of up-and-coming artist Portable.
Since becoming famous in December 2021, Portable has been involved in a string of scandals.
Apparently, the Zazuu performer claimed to be the originator of the cults One Million Boys and Ajah Boys, both based in Lagos.
After Inspector General of Police Usman Baba ordered an investigation into his claim, however, he recanted his original allegation.
The singer of “Zazuu” infuriated Nigerians, who condemned his violent antics and unrestrained language and predicted that they would eventually land him in prison.
As he tried to backtrack, Portable flatly rejected his earlier comment, which was caught on tape, in which he said he was responsible for producing the notorious one million guys.
This has come to an end that I have to voice out… please everyone I wana let you know that I didn’t meant to campaign for APC it was a show they told that am going to before I saw myself in APC office and as a man no need to worry I gats to do the job since it involved money . And what I meant by 1million boys is meant 1million followers . People are threatening my life ooo you should all look into this
I GO BY THE NAME PORTABLE OMOLALOMI, I DO MUSIC FOR LIVING
During the turmoil, Olamide was blamed for Portable’s actions because, according to some, he encouraged the singer to act inappropriately by having him participate on one of his songs.
To respond, the YNBL leader just dropped a quote into his Instagram story.
The father of two posted some profound thoughts about letting go to his Instagram story.
“Let go, not everything you seek is seeking you”
