Daniel Benson, better known by his stage as BNXN, is a Nigerian Afro-fusion musician, songwriter, and record producer who has spoken out in favor of marijuana legalization in his own country.

The musician asked the government of Nigeria’s Federal Republic to legalize the usage of marijuana.

As part of an Instagram live broadcast, BNXN argued that individuals should not be drinking the chemical in such large quantities that their health is put at risk.

he recalled how his questioning father had to swear with the bible to make sure he was telling the truth when he lied about not consuming marijuana.

After experimenting with a number of other substances, he stated that marijuana is the only one that has a positive influence on his mood and happiness.

If the government grants his request and legalizes marijuana, according to BNXN, the drug will be removed from the hands of criminals and other undesirables because it will be available to everyone without restriction.
